AccrueMe Featured in Business Insider: AccrueMe Launches Private Credit for Established Ecommerce Brands
Business Insider Article

Business Insider's Markets Insider published AccrueMe's announcement of AccrueMe Private Credit, a credit facility built for established ecommerce brands. For operators who have outgrown cash advances but find banks too slow, it lays out the terms in one place.

What the announcement covered

AccrueMe Private Credit is designed for established brand owners and brand-direct merchants generating $1 million to $25 million in annual revenue, with select brands up to $50 million. Facilities are revolving and come with fixed, transparent pricing, no required monthly payments and deferred repayment. Funding decisions take days rather than the weeks or months common with traditional lenders.

The announcement frames the launch around a choice many growing brands know well: banks that are slow and documentation-heavy, or merchant cash advances that are fast but expensive. Co-founder Sam Kotch said the facility gives brands "institutional terms with the speed and flexibility their businesses actually run on."

It also puts the launch in market context. Citing Marketplace Pulse, the release notes that active Amazon sellers worldwide fell from about 2.4 million in 2021 to about 1.65 million by the end of 2025, while the number of sellers with $1 million or more in annual sales passed 100,000. Those established, profitable brands are the ones traditional capital tends to underserve.

Finally, the release covers AccrueMe's track record. Since 2018, the firm has deployed capital across hundreds of ecommerce businesses, and its portfolio today generates nine figures in annual revenue. Co-founder Ben Kotch noted that the brands AccrueMe funds have grown from under $1 million a year in Amazon sales two years ago to around $9 million today. Proprietary technology connects directly to ecommerce marketplaces to underwrite and monitor brand performance in real time.

What this means for ecommerce brands

AccrueMe no longer uses profit sharing. Today, AccrueMe Private Credit provides revolving credit facilities, typically from $100K to $5M, at fixed simple interest generally between 10% and 18% a year. There are no required monthly payments, repayment can be deferred for up to three years, and the capital is non-dilutive, so you keep full ownership and control of your brand.

Because the facility revolves, you can draw for an inventory buy, repay as that stock sells, and draw again for the next order without reapplying each time.
