AccrueMe respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information we collect from merchants who use our software, including the AccrueMe Portal and our integrations with Shopify and Amazon.

Information We Collect

• Sales, product, inventory, and performance data provided by you or retrieved via Shopify and/or Amazon APIs.

• Basic account and store information required to enable the integration.

• Optional information you may choose to provide within the Portal.

How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide analytics, reporting, and insights to help you understand your business performance.

• Operate and improve our software and services.

• Support merchants who request help with their account.

• Assess your eligibility for funding, if you request it.

 

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

 

Data Sharing

• Your data is only accessible to authorized AccrueMe personnel who need it to provide services.

• We share data with service providers who help us operate our software.

• If you request or enter into funding with us, we may also share limited, specific information about your business — not bulk data or API access — with banks and financial institutions (for example, for lien or UCC searches and filings or KYB/KYC processes) and with capital partners or investors involved in providing that funding, all under confidentiality obligations.

• We do not disclose your information to any other third parties except as required by law or to comply with Shopify/Amazon policies.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption of data in transit and at rest — to protect merchant data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Data Retention

We retain merchant data only as long as necessary to provide services or to meet legal or contractual obligations (such as records tied to a funding agreement). Merchants may request deletion at any time, and we delete data from active systems when you disconnect your account or request deletion, except records we must retain by law or contract.

Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time,  and you may withdraw your consent to our processing. If you disconnect your Shopify or Amazon account, AccrueMe will no longer receive new data from those platforms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the “Effective Date” above.

Other Agreements
In certain cases, merchants may enter into separate agreements with AccrueMe (for example, funding agreements). In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the terms of such agreements, the signed agreement will control.
