3rd Party Amazon Sellers Have Biggest Black Friday Weekend Ever With Over $1 Billion In Sales

This Thanksgiving holiday shopping weekend was Amazon’s biggest ever, with customers around the world purchasing hundreds of millions of products between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday.
“This was a record-breaking holiday shopping weekend for Amazon. Amazon reported that US-based 3rd Party Amazon Sellers generated over $1 Billion in sales over the 4-day holiday shopping weekend.
Overall shopping numbers increased, with online Black Friday sales up 2.3% from last year and Cyber Monday figures 5.8% higher, going against many analysts forecasting significant consumer weakness going into the Q4 holiday shopping season.
